Heat Pump Rebates, Incentives & Financing
Whether your heat pump project qualifies for rebates or incentives depends on where you live, your household, the specific equipment installed and the program rules in force when you apply. Programs open, close and change every year — so we verify what applies to your project at estimate time instead of quoting stale numbers.
Our role
Planning for incentives
- Identify current programs
- Discuss which current programs may apply to your address and proposed equipment. Confirm application windows and available funding directly with the program before relying on an incentive.
- Check equipment eligibility
- Many incentives require specific efficiency ratings or certified product lists. If an incentive matters to your decision, confirm the proposed models and contractor eligibility against current program requirements.
- Confirm application responsibilities
- Confirm who is responsible for reservations, applications and supporting documents before signing. Contractor participation and submission support must be established for the specific program.

FAQ
Rebate & financing questions
Why won’t you just tell me the rebate amount?
Because we’d rather be accurate than exciting. Incentive amounts differ by program, income tier, equipment and timing — and programs pause or change without much notice. A number that was true last quarter can be wrong today, so we verify against the official sources for your specific project instead.
Do incentives require specific equipment?
Often, yes. Verify current model lists, efficiency requirements, contractor participation and any reservation rules before selecting equipment based on a rebate.
Who applies — you or me?
It depends on the program. Confirm whether the homeowner or a participating contractor applies, what documents are needed and whether approval must precede installation. Do not assume an incentive has been reserved until the program confirms it.
